چکیده

In this paper we explore whether mental representations about birth (birth-related mindsets) assessed during pregnancy can predict labour and in the sense that perception of as a natural (rather than medical) event increases probability low-intervention birth. Birth, turn, might affect short-term long-term psychological well-being. These assumptions were tested longitudinal study (N = 311), spanning first half up to 6 months after The results single indicator model displayed sequential process: women who held more mindset prenatally likely have births, which resulted positive evaluation experience, turn predicted well-being weeks (measured with ecological momentary assessment), subsequently postpartum depression post-traumatic stress symptoms 8 well mother-infant bonding demonstrates relevance factors for childbirth. construct birth-related could contribute better understanding childbirth help make women's experiences safer satisfying improve transition motherhood.
